Public Relations Department showcases rare pictures of Chhattisgarh’s freedom fighters in exhibition

Raipur 21 August 2023// The photo exhibition organized by the Public Relations Department at Raipur’s Town Hall to mark the 76th anniversary of Independence Day, has garnered immense attention, with visitors lauding the impressive efforts of the Chhattisgarh Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel. Running for the past six days, the exhibition is set to conclude today.

The exhibition aims to celebrate the significant contributions of Chhattisgarh’s freedom fighters during the Indian Independence Movement. Moreover, the exhibition offers insights into the accomplishments achieved by the state government over the past 4.5 years. Visitors ranging from school children to common citizens have widely appreciated this photo exhibition, with school children particularly taken by the portrayal of Chhattisgarh’s freedom fighters and their contributions.

Shri Gulshan Vishwakarma, a resident of Santoshi Nagar and Shri Lakshmi Narayan Das, a student at Mahant Laxmi Narayan Das College, found the exhibition interesting, especially the information about Chhattisgarh’s freedom fighters. They heaped praise on Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhoomiheen Krishi Mazdoor NYAY Yojana, offering annual financial assistance of Rs 7000 to landless agricultural labourers. This remarkable financial assistance scheme, benefiting over five lakh impoverished labourers in the state, has received widespread commendation, they said.

B.A. students, Shri Ashok Gupta and Shri Rakesh Banjare, hailing from Bhathagaon, Baloda Bazaar-Bhatapara District, appreciated the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan NYAY Yojana and unemployment allowance scheme of the state government.

Shri Deepanshu Verma and Shri Rahul Yadav, from Lodhipara, Raipur, employees at a private furniture company, expressed their gratitude for the exhibition’s enlightening experience. Having gained insights into the range of plans for educated unemployed youth and welfare initiatives for labourers implemented by the state government, the exhibition undoubtedly provided valuable information to numerous unemployed youth.
